Mum's the word at Hayfield Manor

Mothers Day is fast approaching, and although they claim they don't want a fuss made, nothing makes moms feel more special that being pampered by their children. And lets face it, it's only fair seeing as the other 363 days of the year it's them making a fuss of us. An office discussion here about what to get our moms showed just how mothers difference in what they consider a treat. One colleague is sending her mom for a much yearned after day of pampering at the Beautique Spa, while another's mom would not be comfortable with this, and her son has purchased her a gift certificate for a garden centre - with Spring in sight her thoughts are firmly set outside in her garden!

My own mom likes nothing more that an excuse not to cook, so I'll be treating her to lunch for Mothers Day, and presenting her with a gift certificate for dinner in Orchids Restaurant here at Hayfield Manor, so she can enjoy a romantic evening out with dad.

We're seeing from our guests that a gift certificate is a popular present for the mothers of Ireland, offering them the choice of what they themselves would like. We are also offering a special Mothers Day package offer, which is proving popular once again.

So just to remind you, the 14th March is Mothers Day this year, make sure you get her something that will make her smile.
