The team at Hayfield Manor have recently seen a trend in meeting bookers using the most unusual areas in the hotel as breakout spaces during their event. Traditional meetings rooms are used along with our Vine Wine Cellar, The Glasshouse, Grand Suites, The Drawing Room, Library and the manor's gardens. As event planners seek new ways to surprise and delight their clients, we are finding meetings taking place in all of the nooks and crannies of the hotel!

For a recent top team event held at Hayfield Manor, the client's brief was that they were  looking to provide an inspirational fluid event. This saw the client using some traditional meeting elements while also incorporating a mindfulness session being held poolside along with a split-level art workshop taking place on the hotel's open-space landing foyers, with passing resident's encouraged to view the delegate's creations. The meeting then culminated in the kitchen where a number of delegates were assigned to work in different chef de partie stations to prepare their own meal which was held privately for the group in Orchids Restaurant. Taking colleagues out of their comfort zone to foster creativity and team building is undoubtedly a top trend for 2017.
