We are currently recruiting for:
Sous Chef for Perrotts Bistro Restaurant The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in similar type Bistro style kitchen of a good 4 star or 5 star property.
- Will hold a a professional culinary arts degree or equivalent relevant experience in high standard 2 rosette or good 4* or 5*.
- Minimum of one years experience in similar role or 3 years at junior sous chef level.
- An appreciation of good food and maintaining the current high standards.
Duties The core emphasis of this role will primarily be in hands in hands on capacity where the successful candidate will be involved in day to day cooking and running of sections etc.
He/she will take instruction from Executive Head Chef and on occasion will be responsible for the kitchen operations in the absence of Head Chef.
Junior Sous Chef with at least 2 to 3 years experience in a 5 star hotel or 2 rosette standard restaurant. Reporting to the head Chef you will ensure that food preparation and production is carried out to the highest standard to ensure entire customer satisfaction. The successful candidate willl have an excelellent knowledge of HACCp and Health and Safety to ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen is in line with food hygiene regulations.
you will be responsible for
- Managing the kitchen to ensure the entire food production operation for the hotel runs smoothly and efficiently in the absence of the Head Chef
- To create a good working environment in the kitchen while constanly training and monitoring the team of chefs
- To ensure the food quality if to a consistenly high standard
- Assist in ensuring profit targets are achieved
- Ensuring that all health and safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
Fluent english is essential for all positions
