Our Frightening Competition!

With a long and ghoulish history of body snatchers, witches, ghosts and things that go bump in the night, visiting Cork is an ideal opportunity to experience a darker side of some of Ireland's haunted locations and attractions.

Halloween's roots lie in the Celtic New Year festival of Samhain and Cork's dark and spooky history lives on to this day with sightings of ghostly bodies and scary sounds.

To win a  haunted room on halloween night simply submit a short story / poem which is at least 100 words long and features a Cork location or a Cork character.  The winning entry will be picked on Tuesday, October 26th 2010 and then featured on the Hayfield Manor blog on Halloween.

Please submit your entries to sales@hayfieldmanor.ie

  • Entry into the competition is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions
