Wojtek Palasz joined the team at Hayfield Manor in September 2005 in the role of kitchen porter. Very quickly, Wojtek's desire and passion to grow in Hayfield Manor was quickly noticed by the senior chefs. Wojtek was voted the Bi-Monthly Employee for the months of July/August 2006.
By December 2007 Wojteks' talent and creativity resulted in him being offered a position as a trainee pastry chef. In August 2009 when the position arose for a Head Pastry Chef, Wojtek was the natural choice and was offered the position. His eagerness, hard work, dedication and desire to achieve and succeed have been further rewarded and recognized as he has been voted Employee of the Year in 2009.
He is currently an instrumental part of taking both Perrotts and Orchids Restaurants to new heights and we continue to support and nurture this incredible talent.
Luzminda arrived in Ireland from the Philippines in December 2003, and joined Hayfield Manor as an accommodation assistant. Luzminda was a very diligent worker, always willing to assist colleagues when requested of her, and showing great respect for everyone in the hotel. In 2007 her great work was acknowledged when she was voted Employee of the Year.
In April 2008, Luzminda's dedication and conscientiousness was recognized when she was offered the position of Accommodation Supervisor.
It is always a pleasure to work with Luzminda, who has grown into a confident Supervisor, always willing and obliging, and respected by her team.
