A host of top Irish and international acts are set to wow audiences over The Live at The Marquee festival, which will return to Cork for the sixth year running this June. Now firmly established as one of the premier events of its kind in Europe, Live at the Marquee has already played host to acts including Elton John, Rod Stewart, The Who, Christy Moore and Bob Dylan. Audiences will not be disapointed this year as the line up proves to be as star studed as ever with even more acts to be announced over the comming weeks and months.
Live at the Marquee, Cork 2010 will be Christy Moore & Declan Sinnott, Deep Purple, JlS, Kenny Rodgers, Dara O Brian, Tony Bennett and the world famous musical Mama Mia.

JLS have arguably been one of the most successful X-Factor acts of all time. They have been given the much coveted role of kicking off Live at the Marquee 2010 on Thursday, June 17.
Having topped the charts with their debut single Beat Again,selling over 100,000 copies in its first week of release. The English foursome released their eagerly anticipated second single Everybody In Love on the 2 November 2009 to coincide with their much hyped return to the X-Factor stage. This topped the Singles Chart also selling over 120,000 copies in its first week of release, and becoming the bands second consecutive number 1. Their debut album has also since gone double Platinum.

At the other end of the musical spectrum Kenny Rogers is a true icon of the country music genre enjoying a career spanning more than five decades.The Houston born singer's sweetly raspy vocals have endeared him to fans of all ages across the globe.He has recorded more than 40 top-ten selling singles including The Gambler, Lady, Ruby Don't Take Your Love to Town, Islands in the Stream and We've Got Tonight.

Dara O Brian

At the start of 2003 Dara was chosen by the BBC to front their Saturday night comedy showcase, The Live Floor Show, which directly led to a series of acclaimed appearances as guest-host of the legendary Have I Got News for You, where both The Guardian and The Sun described him as "the best guest host yet".
The basis for this success is Dara's place at the very top of the stand-up circuit. Winner of the Chortle award for ‘Best Headline Act' in both 2003 and 2004, Dara has performed virtually all over the world, from Dubai to Shanghai, and at all the major festivals from Melbourne to Montreal. He has performed at the world famous Just for Laughs Festival Gala, and last year he appeared in the UK's ultimate showcase for entertainers, The Royal Variety Performance.
Following Dara O'Briain's 40 sold out shows in Vicar St he will now play Live at the Marquee on 2nd July 2010.
