Amazing Day

“We had the most amazing day and that was definitely helped by everyone who helped us in the hotel from Frank at the front door right up to you and John at front of house. Any request was taken care of straight away. The first room was perfect for all us ladies getting hair and makeup done, without being in top of each other. The suite for the night of the wedding was amazing! All our guests also had an amazing time. The food was the best people have had, we had some really foodies there! One of our guests is the beverage manager at another hotel and she said she wants to work at the hotel. The wine and bubbles were excellent. We would really really like to thank you and all of your team for the most amazing day”.

We felt like royalty on the day thanks to the professionalism of the Hayfield staff. Everything was seamless from the food to the drinks reception and the service was absolutely perfect. 
The staff couldn't do enough for us and were absolutely fantastic in ensuring our day was outstanding.In summary, the wedding day was amazing. The stunning venue, the excellent food and drinks menu and exceptional support from our wedding co-ordinator Erin and her team ensured the perfect day. Our guests still talk about the fantastic time they had at Hayfield Manor.

The care and attention from the team was fantastic and they were on hand throughout the day to ensure everything was perfect. I truly felt like a princess  and could not have asked for more.

December Wedding

"While it wasn’t our original plan, we had the absolute best day, it was beyond anything that we had hoped for. Everything was perfect and we find it difficult to put into words how happy we are that everything worked out so well. The setting was amazing, we didn't have to worry for the day and the staff made the days even more special. 

With restrictions and so many obstacles in place, we will be forever grateful for the way that everything was dealt with, how we were all looked after and felt so safe!

“Let me start by saying that we had the best day of our lives! What a great way to start married life ?? Everyone absolutely loved the wedding and some guests commented that it was the best wedding they were ever at.  The feedback on the food was very positive, everyone loved it. Amazing Intimate Wedding

"We had a small intimate wedding in Hayfield Manor two weeks ago. Due to Covid-19 regional lockdowns we had to re-arrange all of our wedding plans within one week and could not have done this without the outstanding help of Erin and John in Hayfield Manor. We first spoke with them the week before and they somehow managed to pull everything together for us including helping with flowers and lots of extras. We honestly do not believe we would have enjoyed our original plan as much! They were extremely accommodating and satisfied every request we had. All of our guests were talking about the delicious food and great service from every single member of staff in the hotel. We will be eternally grateful that not only did they both help us at such short notice but made everything absolutely perfect."

Anniversary Stay at Hayfield Manor

"Dan & I want to extend our sincere appreciation to you for arranging such a wonderful stay in Hayfield. From the moment we were checked in to the moment we left we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had lunch on arrival & Dan was delighted with his crab & I the pate. When we retired to our room we were greeted by a wonderful welcome assortment including Jameson & indeed the room itself was so spacious & delightfully furnished we could not but relax thoroughly. Dinner was so delicious and the creme brûlée was the highlight for me. You have wonderful chefs. Please extend our thanks to all your staff & indeed Amy in training was so professional & warm, she is a credit to Hayfield. We were surprised after dinner by a wonderful array of sweets and fruit for our anniversary and I’m not sure where we found room but we managed to devour them. After a wonderful nights sleep we ate yet again (I need to fast for a week) & again both the food and the staff were top class. All in all it made for a very memorable celebration of our anniversary and Dan thinks we should make it an annual event as we have yet to find a hotel that tops Hayfield’s standards. 

Thanks again for arranging such a wonderful stay. I know this pandemic and the associated restrictions have made life very difficult for businesses such as yourselves and I hope you manage to keep your doors open and continue to provide a wonderful haven of rest for your guests."

Wedding Day October 2020

"I can't really express adequately what a wonderful experience we had in Hayfield Manor. The staff, particularly Jordan, the meal, the setting, the bedroom, were exceptional.  As you were probably aware, I wasn't really looking forward to the day, but it was, honestly, the best day of my life and this is because of the fantastic day we had in Hayfield Manor.  Joe and I hope to return in the near future to savour the  ambience again.

Wedding Day

"In planning our wedding at this difficult time we have to remark that you have been exceptional in understanding every difficulty that we encountered including cancellations, number restrictions, border restrictions etc. And the countless changes that we had to make. The hotel rooms were beautiful and in particular our suite together with the additional treats in the room made our stay truly memorable and enjoyable. The drawing room for the ceremony was beautifully laid out and the flowers were exactly what we wanted. The technology facilities worked perfectly and we got a resounding thumbs up from all our guests who could not attend but were connected by Zoom. The drinks reception and access to the gardens also worked perfectly.

Now onto the amazing reception in Orchids. Everything about it smacked of quality. The meal was truly a 5 star experience and we would like to extend our appreciation to your chef Mark Staples and his team. Every single item was prepared and served to perfection. 

Your manager John was exceptional and was acknowledged and appreciated by every guest. The attention both of you gave to all of the children was much appreciated. John pulled out all the stops for 1 year old Luca ( 10 October ) and and in a matter of minutes he prepared a Birthday plate. We used the table candle for him to blow out when we all sang Happy Birthday !!  Thanks also to Evander for helping with wine choices and the Espresso Martinis we talked to him about were perfection. So all in all a perfectly managed occasion by you and the Hayfield team for which we are truly grateful and appreciative.

We look forward to enjoying many more evenings in Orchids in the future, particularly around 8th October."

From the very beginning you accommodated me at every turn and even from the very first phone call with you, I felt so relaxed and I knew I was in great hands! Wedding October 2020

I got married in the Hayfield Manor in October 2020 and it was by far the best choice we could have made for our wedding venue. We are still buzzing with delight from our stay and I can't even begin to describe how nice it was. To summarise-a few things stood out in particular:

1. The Venue itself-What can I say only it's exquisite, charming, warm and welcoming. The hotel itself exuberates class and elegance but yet maintains a warm, cosy and homely experience. The second you walk in the door you are greeted with grandeur, an ornate lobby area featuring a grand piano and beautiful staircase. What is even more beautiful though are the smiles and genuine, hearty welcomes we received that I feel are really exclusive to friendly Cork. As for the bridal suite, my God it was the most stunning suite I have ever stayed in in my life. I have stayed in fine hotels all over the world-in particular when I lived in Abu Dhabi and was accustomed to nice suites during my stays. Hayfield Manor bridal suite blew them all out of the water though and there is no comparison in my opinion. It's not just about the beauty and cleanliness of a room but it's more than that. The attention to detail in the rooms was one thing everyone commented on here and stood out. Our best man commented on how they left a little infant sized bathrobe alongside himself and his partners bathrobes which we all thought was so sweet. In my opinion it's the little things like this and attentiveness that raises a hotel from 4 star to 5. Outside the hotel-My little nephews loved the bird aviary outside and found it so enjoyable. The glasshouse outside was the perfect setting for some fabulous wedding photos. Even the rain didn't stop us getting some amazing pictures outside thanks to it! The courtyard is just beautiful too and we will look forward to coming back and sitting outside there when the sun is beaming!

2. The dining-Everyone in our wedding party spoke so highly of the amazing food. The quality is top class and the wines were divine. My father in law is particularly hard to please and has very high standards, and even he was singing praise! He said it was 'superb' and that you can see how highly trained everyone is. The salmon was probably the best salmon I have ever tasted! The dining experience was greatly enhanced by once again how attentive the staff were and nothing was too much to ask. I remember in particular I had a dinner playlist on my phone that I wanted to play, and John went above and beyond to make sure it worked. We had a singing chef after dinner and you could see how much the staff enjoyed it too. They clearly love where they work and the good vibes bounce off us all as a result. 

3. The staff- The staff are what really make the hotel the success it is, in my opinion. I have truly never met such an amazing team working under the one roof and one testimonial doesn't really cover it. I think people just need to go and experience it for themselves. A few people I have to mention in particular that stood out for me were: Erin, John, Tess and Jordan. Erin was my first person I connected with and was our wedding coordinator in the HM. Erin is an absolute diamond and will go above and beyond to help get things organised for you. She takes things in her stride and is efficient, warm, welcoming and probably the most organised person I have ever dealt with! I met John on my wedding day and just like Erin, he was so friendly and welcoming. They both came down to the bridal suite to greet me and actually really helped settle my nerves as I walked down to the ceremony room. John was there for anything anyone needed on the day and looked after everyone so so well. Nothing was too much to ask of him and he would find a way to make things work. Tess was the waitress that looked after me on my food tasting night and she did a magnificent job. I was unfortunately by myself for food tasting as my partner was quarantining after working abroad but I never felt lonely as Tess was always checking in on me and having little chats here and there too. I was anxious during that time in the build up to the wedding but I truly enjoyed the food tasting evening with the girls looking after me. Last but not least, Jordan was primarily looking after us at our family dinner the night before. He introduced himself with a smile and was so polite and patient with us all and like everyone else, could not do enough for us. I am probably leaving out so many other names.

If you are looking for a beautiful venue with amazing dining, staff and in general the WOW factor for a wedding, then the Hayfield Manor is the right spot for you.

Wedding Weekend at Hayfield Manor

"We had the most amazing wedding and weekend. We really want to thank you and all the staff for making the day and weekend so special for us. Everybody was so nice to us. Everybody we spoke to who were at wedding had the best night and they loved the hotel. We defo will be back as soon as we can.

Home Away from Home

Would highly recommend Hayfield Manor for their world-class charm, professional staff, elegant and spacious guest rooms, and delicious food. My two adult daughters and I stayed for three nights and reluctantly left to continue our tour of Ireland. No other accommodations compared to the extraordinary Hayfield Manor.

Dinner in Hayfield Manor

Firstly, to say that Lisa, Pat, Marian, Imelda and I had themost amazing "first night out" in lockdown. From the moment we went throughthe gates of Hayfield until we left, the evening was faultless.  Idescribed it to someone yesterday as "feeling safe" with people whoknew what they were doing.

It was truly a 5* experience. From your personalgreeting on the table, Karen to the Prosecco, to the standard of service andfood and the birthday plates for the ladies, a memorable evening for everyone. Thank you, Karen for your, as always, professional standardsand for helping in no small way to make the evening for Lisa and Pat a"stand out" event for their "zero" birthday celebrations. Please convey mine and the ladies thanks and appreciation toyour colleagues especially Paul and Kathleen for their high standard of servicethroughout our night.

 I look forward to many visits to Hayfield Manor before theend of 2020 to make up for the past 4/5 months.

Dining Experience

"I had reserved a table for 6pm and requested a bottle of champagne at the table on arrival. It was there exactly as requested and started our evening beautifully. The meal itself was delicious. We could not fault any of it. The servers were all extremely polite and helpful. The sommelier and the restaurant manager were lovely. We did not feel in any way rushed or under pressure despite the restaurant being fully booked out.

 

It was my husband’s birthday and it was a lovely, special evening for him. We all thoroughly enjoyed it from the moment we arrived until the time we left. Thank you all sincerely."

The Hotel is Outstanding

"A huge thank you for everything in relation to my stay at the Hayfield Manor on Wednesday night, September 9th. The hotel is outstanding. 

From check in to check out everything was first class. Both people and indeed all the staff were so kind and so incredibly professional. The room was just beautiful and the food [I ordered dinner and breakfast in the room] was mouthwatering. 

I worked in RTE for 19 years and got to travel all over the country and indeed all over the world and this hotel is up there with the very best.

"We couldn’t speak highly enough about Hayfield Manor, from when we first made the booking, right through to the wedding day itself. Everything from the food to the function rooms and accommodation was impeccable. The staff were outstanding, and went above and beyond to ensure our guests were comfortable and that we enjoyed our day. We should especially mention Jordan, who oversaw the evening service and made sure everything ran smoothly.

It was easy for us to stay calm and patient in the lead up to the day Erin, as you were always prompt and professional in communicating with us throughout all the changing levels and restrictions.
