"Hi Ladies,

I took yesterday off to recover so apologies for my delay in contacting ye. I cannot thank you both and all the team at Hayfield Manor enough for the amazing day we had again on Sunday. Niall and everybody had everything running like clockwork. It truly was a very special day. I have been getting calls, emails and facebook messages from the guests saying what a fabulous event it was and how great the staff of the hotel were on the day. The last minute decision to host the drinks reception in the Executive Boardroom due to the weather was a fabulous idea and the Jazz music playing away in the background was fabulous! The Evening Echo will have 2 full pages of photos for us later in the week.

The food, was as always delicious and there was so much of it. There are not enough descriptive words in my vocabulary to tell how you how wonderful everything was! Please pass my sincere thanks also the Malton for the very generous voucher they donated. I wrapped the voucher into a huge hamper with a fluffy robe, slippers, a bottle of Prosecco and a box of Chocolates to make it a luxury gift and we raised €300 for it in the Auction!

Again thank you so much for having us again this year. If you will be able to host us again next year, I would love to change it up a little bit and have an event towards the end of November when the Hotel is decorated for Christmas (which is breath-taking!). Maybe have an evening event this time with a dinner option instead of Afternoon Tea? I would love to discuss this with you in the new year if you think it could be a runner.

I have some nice chocolates and treats for you which I will drop to the hotel later today.
