Quality lies at the very heart of SLH and is something that they take a holistic approach to, taking into account not only customer feedback and Club reviews but also wider online and social media monitoring and, of course, their Mystery Inspector programme. As the winner of the Commitment to Quality Award Hayfield Manor has demonstrated continued levels of excellence as expressed by their Mystery Inspector: “This really is quite an exceptional hotel. Pristine and perfect yet comfortable and welcoming. Their prime asset though was the staff. Highly efficient, impeccably presented and nothing too much trouble, this was without exception, and is truly quite rare”.
Ettienne Van Vrede takes a personal interest in the development of Hayfield Manor as he is not only the General Manager of the hotel but is also the son-in-law of, Joe and Margaret Scally. Speaking of their recent achievement Ettienne said:
“To be recognised among the greatest hotels in Ireland and the world is a marvellous achievement for Hayfield Manor. The timing of this news is really excellent, as it has provided all our staff with a little morale boost as we enter the fun of the festive season- our busiest time of the year”.
