Join us for an evening of champagne and exceptional cuisine on Thursday 21st November 2024 for our Champagne Dinner in association with Piper-Heidsieck. The event begins at 6.30pm with a Champagne and canapé reception with an introduction from resident Sommelier, Ivan Vegas Sanchez, along with Piper-Heidsieck Ambassador, Martin Richard. This is followed by a delicious five course menu specially created by our Executive Chef, Mark Staples, to complement the carefully selected champagnes.
Piper-Heidsieck is one of Champagne's most well-known houses. From being a favourite of Marilyn Monroe (who claimed she liked a glass to wake up in the morning!) to being the first ever bottle of Champagne to feature in a movie. Established in 1785, it is renowned for its unique blends, made from a combination of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier grapes. It has won numerous awards for its superior quality and is one of the most sought-after champagnes in the world. The champagne house is owned by Vranken-Pommery Monopole, based in Reims, and run by the current head winemaker, Régis Camus. Régis Camus has been with the company since the late 1990s and has taken Piper-Heidsieck to new heights with his creative and innovative winemaking techniques.
Tickets are priced at €149 per person and spaces are limited. This is a pre-paid event.
